Fairfield, Calif., (October 1, 2010) ‐ MV Transportation, Inc., is pleased to announce the promotion of Mr. Doug Gies to East Group President.

Gies has served as Regional Vice President of MV’s Mountain Area for the past three years and has school bus, fixed route and paratransit managerial experience spanning his 20 year career in the industry. In his new role, Gies will oversee MV’s team of regionally based vice presidents and support personnel, as well as ensuring contract compliance and the operational success of all contracts across the Eastern Unites States, beginning in Colorado and extending east.
